Despite the insane media attention that followed her surprise wedding to Nick Cannon last week, Mariah Carey‘s new single, Bye Bye, has plummeted on this week’s Soundscan singles chart in America.

The song drops from #22 to #41.

Sucks for her!

People may be interested in her wedding, but it seems like they don’t care about her single!

Madonna, on the other hand, is doing quite well on the chart.

4 Minutes is currently at #3 this week and her second single, Give It 2 Me, debuted at #21.

Congrats, Madge.
