After the tragic terror attacks in Paris earlier this month, the Irish rock band cancelled their performances scheduled for the following weekend.
Instead, the Beautiful Day chart-toppers paid tribute to the victims lost at the memorial outside the Bataclan theater.

But the show must go on — U2 has rescheduled their Paris shows on the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour for December 6 and 7 at the Accorhotels Arena in Bercy!
Frontman Bono released the following statement about the tour’s continuation:

“So much that was taken from Paris on the tragic night of November 13th is irreplaceable. For one night, the killers took lives, took music, took peace of mind — but they couldn’t steal the spirit of that city. It’s a spirit our band knows well and will try to serve when we return for the postponed shows on December 6th and 7th. We’re going to put on our best for Paris.”

The December 7 will be broadcast exclusively on HBO, so fans from around the world will be able to watch.
We hope the band plans to do something special to honor the victims of the tragedy.
