The United States did it again! For the fourth time (there have only been eight women’s World Cup events, BTW), the Americans are champions of the world — and we were right there along with them, celebrating all morning as they defeated the Netherlands 2-0 and rolled to victory!
Social media has been on FIRE all morning celebrating this, too, with celebs like Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Seacrest, Elizabeth Banks, Ted Allen, and many more calling out the women for their incredible performance today, as well as their ultimate domination of the world’s biggest stage all summer long at the World Cup!
Here are some of the best reactions from today’s big victory (below):

Yesss!!
Absolutely loving it! Can’t get enough of America winning!!!
Also can’t get enough of s**tty people like Donald Trump being forced to eat crow; after calling our Rapinoe (by name) a few days ago, Trump now has to sit back and watch as she and the rest of her teammates sit atop the world’s hierarchy as the best soccer team around!!!
Did Donald tweet his congratulations to the U.S. women’s soccer team today?
No, of course he didn’t — because he’s a massive baby.
At last Ivanka Trump tried to tweet at one point (below):
Let’s go USA! ????⚽️ #USAvNED
— Ivanka Trump (@IvankaTrump) July 7, 2019
But no congrats from Donald. Suck on THAT, Trump! LOLz!!!

UPDATE, 12:15 p.m. PT: The Donald has finally wished his congratulations to the U.S. Women’s Team, as you can see (below):
Congratulations to the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team on winning the World Cup! Great and exciting play. America is proud of you all!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 7, 2019
__________
Besides celebs, though, fans of all kinds were ecstatic about the American victory today, too — and many used it as a jumping-off point to discuss how the women’s team deserves better funding and higher pay!
Here’s what other users around social media had to say about that (below):
Please rise for the president of the #USA. #USAvNED pic.twitter.com/zjIJ8L0jJR

Nice!!!!
What do U think about all the social side of this, Perezcious readers?! The women’s team HAS to be paid more and given even better training schedules and facilities, right?! Come on!!! These women are literally the best in the world at what they do! Talk about competing at a high level!!!
