After seven minutes of discussing fluffy stuff like football bets and his grandchildren, Kiefer Sutherland got down to the meat of his interview with David Letterman on The Late Show and revealed that the 24 movie is still moving forward!
Of course, he's been saying this stuff since the show went off the air in 2010, but the actor told Dave that the biggest problem plaguing the movie was the script, saying:
Well, well, well Mr. Olbermann!! Taking responsibility for your actions???
Kind of…
Last night, the ex-Current TV anchor appeared on Letterman and addressed the whole Current TV firing/legal debacle, doing something that hardly anyone in the limelight does these days…he admitted fault!
In the most vague, circumventing way ever…but still! It's something.
He did create a metaphor in which he is a $10 million dollar chandelier and Current TV is a dilapidated housing unit, so um, he is still deceptively making a jab at the network.
We've been avidly following this back and forth between Al Gore'snetwork and this bigger than life newsie personality, and everything indicated that Olbermann was an ego-maniac who would never admit defeat.

Whenever we wonder just exactly how Tina Fey and the writers at 30 Rock come up with some of Tracy Jordan's more INSANE dialogue, we remember that the character is played by Tracy Morgan…and the line between the real man and his fictional counterpart is a very thin one, indeed!
Check out the actor's visit last night to The Late Show with David Letterman, during which he shared his insight on Tim Tebow joining the Jets, the recent JetBlue pilot who had a meltdown mid-flight, his engagement…to Oprah, and his recent fainting incident at Sundance Film Festival (above)!
Oh man.
Wherever the world is that he lives in, we want to GO! ASAP!
