It's such a bummer these two can't get along!
The confidante went on to explain:

But when shooting those segments, not everything goes perfectly as Kimmel shared a few of the bloopers from his late night sketches that include Mike Tyson dancing, Tracy Morgan's wackiness, and a little superhero silliness!

When Ben Affleck stops by your late night show, he really stops by!
Then, he brought a special deleted scene from his upcoming superhero movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!
Awkwardly, it's Jimmy's scene that hit the cutting room floor, but hey, at least we get to see it now, right?
No, not because the 45-year-old won Best Actor for The Martian, but because Matt FINALLY made it on to Jimmy Kimmel Live! after YEARS of feuding with the late night host.
Of course, the Jason Bourne star didn't get on the show by himself as he had some help from his BFF Ben Affleck as the Batman v Superman star smuggled his Boston buddy under a giant coat. LOLz!

Move over, Matt Damon!
On Sunday, The Martian actor stepped out with his wife Luciana Barroso for the Oscars red carpet.
Now it may be Matt's night, but his wife totally upstage her A-lister husband with a sultry red number.
Although we do wish that Luciana did something else with her hair. Girl, a curling iron can be your best friend.
Still, the 45-year-old didn't exactly bomb with his classic black tuxedo. We just wish that the Hollywood hunk made more of an effort for this major awards show.
Maybe next year…

Whoa! We've been waiting for this!
As you know, the pair announced their decision to divorce last June and shortly after reports went rampant that Affleck had an affair with the beloved couple's kids' nanny Christine Ouzounian.
Now, Garner is ready to talk — and she's saying the 28-year-old employee had nothing to do with the divorce.
Miz Garner explained:
"It was a real marriage. It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work."
Apparently, there's more to the story:
And while she might not be hosting this year's show, Ellen still wanted to get her audience ready for the ceremony with a crash course on the nominees!
Giving her take on the eight films up for Best Picture, she quipped how nominees like Room and Spotlight would leave audiences in tears for weeks after watching!
And amid a run down of prestige pics like The Revenant, Brooklyn, and The Big Short, Ellen managed to sneak in a poster for her upcoming Pixar sequel Finding Dory! LOLz!
When she got to The Martian, Ellen revealed the trailer for the The Martian 2: Stuck On Uranus — which features Matt Damon reprising his role as astronaut Mark Whatny and Kim Kardashian West playing an "expert"!
