Joey Feek's battle with terminal cancer continues to be an emotional story to follow as Rory Feek shares another heartbreaking update on his wife's diminishing condition.
There's no doubt the country singer has been surrounded by immense amounts of love and support as she continues to be under hospice care at home. Most importantly, Joey's gotten to spend precious time with her 23-month-old daughter Indiana.
In a touching post on Wednesday, Rory shared a photo of little Indy sitting on her momma's lap. The devoted husband penned:
The Grammys are getting historic, y'all!
It's been announced that the cast of the hit Broadway show Hamilton will be performing a number from the acclaimed musical at the 58th Grammy Awards!
Lin-Manuel Miranda and his cast announced that they would be performing via satellite from the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York!
This performance will mark only the eighth time in history that musical theater has been featured on the award show — the most recent being the cast of American Idiot back in 2010.
Other musicals that took to the Grammy stage were Godspell in 1972, The Magic Show in 1975, Sophisticated Ladies in 1982, La Cage Aux Folles in 1984, Will Rogers Follies in 1992, Riverdance and Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk in 1997!
But the Hamilton segment will be historic for another reason — it's also only the fourth
What a special way to honor an icon.
Executive producer Ken Ehrlich confirmed the news in a statement, saying:
Yeezy, of course, got into it with Wiz Khalifa last week due to a little misunderstanding. It was only a matter of time before Rose got involved and decided to share a bit of NSFW information about the All Day rapper.
Obviously, Kanye wasn't too happy about this and responded by denying the claims. While that easily could have been the end of it, it seems there could be more finger play in Rose's future if a sex toy company gets their way!
Sextoy.com, one of the largest online sex toy companies, wants the rapper's ex to help them create a sex toy molded from
Nothing like puppy love!
After Joey Feek was diagnosed with terminal cancer and placed in hospice care last year, her husband and band mate Rory Feek began sharing updates of the family embracing the precious moments they have left with the country singer.
This week, some adorable puppies swung by Joey's hometown to spread some cheer to the singer and her 23-month-old Indiana. Rory posted on Wednesday:
"….some baby puppies came to play with Indy the other day, but I think her mama loved their visit the most."
We can't handle the cuteness!
In the following update on Thursday, the 59-year-old poppa penned another heartfelt blog post about the "power of the plus sign" in the duo's band name Joey + Rory.
Instead of using the ampersand symbol or the word "and" itself, the couple deliberately chose the addition sign.
The Grammy-nominated singer wrote:
Well this is uncomfortable.
The I Believe I Can Fly singer was abused by a family member from the time he was seven until he was 15, and even discussed the incidences in his memoir Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me. Though the 49-year-old did not identify the female relative that took advantage of him, the Ignition performer did recount a memory about going to McDonald's with his mother.
Unfortunately, what we assume was supposed to be a fond memory just kind of came off creepy since the Chicago native declared that he had a "serious, serious crush" on his momma.
