It may have taken over two decades, but… Dr. Ian Malcolm, uh, finds a way.

That's right! Jeff Goldblum will be starring in Universal's next installment of Jurassic World to serenade us with more chaos theories!

For those living in the Cretaceous period, the actor starred in the original Jurassic Park in 1993 as smooth-talking mathematician Ian Malcolm. (He reprised his role in 1997 for The Lost World: Jurassic Park, but let's not talk about that!)

Now, Goldblum will be joining Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for the upcoming sequel, which also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell, and Toby Jones.

Pratt and Howard already teased to expect a "darker" and "scarier" follow-up to the 2016 blockbuster. And we can now officially add "Goldblumier" to the mix.

DC Comics still can't quite get its superhero movies right in the golden age of Marvel, and Chris Pratt has a few theories as to why that may be.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star admitted he was a fan of "all the Warner Bros. movies" at io9's Guardians junket last week, mostly because he doesn't get his hopes up too high!

While he's "not a real tough critic" when it comes to the rival studio's superhero flicks, he did have one critique for Suicide Squad: the squad was way too big!

Speaking to the audience, the 37-year-old said:

Zoe Saldana Bewitches In Black! See Her Bold Style Blow Away Chris Pratt & Anna Faris On The London Red Carpet!

One of the best things about this new Guardians Of The Galaxy movie is that it's full of women who know how to wow at a premiere!

And of course the leader is Zoe Saldana.

Her character may be "The Most Dangerous Woman In The Universe" but Zoe is the most dangerous on the red carpet.

Donning this Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2017 look, the Marvel star is a pure couture witch at the London premiere, pulling off the corsetry better than Natalia Vodianova did on the runway. (Sorry, girl!)

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were their usual adorable selves but also the odd ones out this time. Anna wore a simple, slinky purple gown that didn't even match her hubby's pinstripes.

Maybe the black fashionista thing was just for the alien gals, because Zoe's movie sis Karen Gillan followed her lead with a black leather-and-lace look as newcomer Pom Klementieff stayed on theme with a space age black cape. #CosmicSquadGoals

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Is The Same Record As Vol. 1 — But Still Outta This World! Read The Review Roundup!

In 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy crashed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a band of renegade misfits who poked fun at their serious superhero peers with disparaging banter and a kick-ass soundtrack.

If Vol. 1 was an exciting, thrilling take on what could have been a B-movie space opera, Vol. 2 definitely packs the same type of punch — but not everyone wanted to hear the same record a second time.

That's the biggest complaint of critics who saw James Gunn's intergalactic space epic, which reunites our rag-tag group of heroes played by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Dave Bautista.

Reviewers still considered Vol. 2 a breath of fresh air in a crowded superhero cinemascape, as the sequel brought back the same irreverent tone, disdainful banter, and action sequences flawlessly synched up to classic rock songs.

But the formula that was so revolutionary in Vol. 1 seemed slightly stale the second go-around — but that doesn't at all mean Vol. 2 will leave fans disappointed. (Just don't expect it to be better than the OG!)

See what the critics had to say (below) — and check out Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 in theaters May 5!
