After what went down with Ciara and Jive Records, there was concern that gurlfriend would have some trouble getting signed to another label. Not so, as we've just learned from a very reputable source that C is thisclose to signing a deal with Epic Records.

Our source is none other than the man, myth and legend L.A. Reid, who tweeted out the momentous news just today. He posted:

Chilling at the Samsung Infuse 4G launch party in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

We talked about music a lot with the ladies!

It was very fun and exciting!

She's baaaaack!

Despite all her record label woes, Ciara isn't letting all the dramz get her down.

She'll be touring with Timbaland in South Africa and Zimbabwe beginning at the end of this month.

The two, along with some other guests including Fat Joe and Lil' Kim, will go on a 4 date mini tour in Johanesburg, Durban, Nelspruit, and Harare.

This will be such a boost for Ci's career. She definitely needs this right now. So happy things are looking up for you, gurl! Have fun touring!

Why not Ciara, too?!

As we've reported, the pop star has been having lots of trouble with her label Jive Records, but sources are now reporting that she very well have found a new home at SRC Records, a subsidiary of Universal Motown, which is also working to revive the careers of the aforementioned former Destiny's Child singer and Aubrey O'Day!

CEO Steve Rifkind recently wrote on Twitter:

“Just had a great meeting with Ciara and her manager. She is poised for greatness, really impressed.”

Inneresting! Sounds like they want to give her a shot to bounce back!

Here's hoping it works out! She deserves a fresh start after the hell she went through with Jive!

Fingers are crossed for you, gurl!

Say what you will about him, but at least he stays classy when talking about the ladies in his life.

50 Cent was interviewed for the April/May edition of Vibe Magazine and while his music was surely a topic of conversation, he spent a good time talking about two important ladies in his life the past year: Chelsea Handler and Ciara. Both relationships have been tumultuous - things got pretty romantic for him and Chelsea for awhile before their fling fizzled out and the world is very familair with Fiddy's constant Twitter feud with Ciara.

So, what does he have to say about the two? Check out these HIGHlights from the interview to see for yourself:

On Chelsea Handler and her confidence:
“I don’t speak to her as much as I did. Chelsea is confident. I think confidence is the sexiest thing about a person. She’s the kind of person that if you’re blessed with the opportunity to hang out with her, you’ll enjoy it. I’m not sure you’ll look at her and actually want to jump over the table and fuck her, but you might. You would leave after talking with her feeling that she is a cool person.”

On Twitter beef with Ciara:
“I could care less about trying to attack someone or bring them down in any way. I look at those scenarios like they’re actually trying to attack me. See, even if I have to assume that US Weekly said what you say. I’m sure she didn’t say that. She’s a friend. She’s been a friend. You know? And it’s like, I don’t know what to expect of people. I’ve been surprised a lot. You think you know what to expect out of people but…. I don’t know how I respond to that without being the bad guy.”

Ah! Looks like someone has learned the value of the phrase, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!"

Last night, Kim Kardashian had a posh night out with some of the most famous ladies around. Kim dined at STK restaurant in El Lay with her besties Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Ciara, Lala Vazquez and Brittny Gastineau!

She tweeted out this FABOOSH pic of herself with her ladies having a divine time, but we've got some more hot shots of the girls from when they arrived.

After the trouble she's had the past few months, we're glad she's catching a break!

Ciara reportedly traveled to Vancouver, to shoot a guest-starring stint on the CW series Hellcats!

She revealed via Twitter:

1st time in Vancouver Canada! Excited to be shooting on the tv show Hellcats! Yay

it was rehearsals, today was awesome! Debby Allen and the crew were sweet!

in the car on the way to the set of Hellcats! I'm having such a blast!

Day 2 on set of Hellcats! Time 2 work! Girl Power!

Nice! We were wondering if she would ever give acting another shot!

Now, now ladies. Let's keep things civil.

Rihanna and Ciara battled it out over Twitter Friday night after Ciara bashed RiRi on E!'s Fashion Police with Joan Rivers.

Ciara told the Joan:

"I ran into [Rihanna] recently at a party. She wasn't the nicest. It's crazy, because I've always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in."

Ouch!

Rihanna was so hurt and offended by Ciara's comments, she took her to Twitter to fight back. She tweeted:

"My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme."

Ciara responded with:

"Trust me Rhianna [sic] u dont want to see me on or off the stage."

Their public feud continued on with Rihanna lashing out, tweeting:

"U gangsta huh? Haaa…Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of."

After Ciara tweeted back, saying, "pure comedy….," Rihanna decided to call a truce, writing:

"Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup"

Ciara accepted RiRi's peace offering and wrote back:

"Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person."

We're just glad things didn't get uglier! Making up and apologizing to each other was the mature thing to do.
