The Juice has been squeezed!

A publicist for NBC tells PerezHilton.com exclusively, "OJ Simpson has never been considered to join the cast for the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. All rumors are completely false."

Additionally, a source close to the show reveals to us that it was Donald Trump who was hot on the idea.

But, we're told, NBC suits "never considered it."

It probably would have been good for ratings. However, it's even better for DECENCY that Simpson won't be on the show!

What a comeback for Trump. The Apprentice format isn't tired after all!

NBC has renewed the Celebrity Apprentice for another season.

Hopefully next time they'll get a better crop than the losers on this season!

Last Thursday's Celebrity Apprentice came in at third place with a lousy 8.2 million viewers.

That's down a sharp 26% from its previous week premiere.

At its heyday, the show could get close to 20 million viewers per episode.

Both Donald Trump and Simon Cowell are chiming in on Britney Spears and offering the beleaguered mother of two advice.

"This is Anna Nicole Smith all over again!" says Trump. "Someone needs to help her. Five years ago every teenager wanted to be just like her. She was so incredible, the cleanest and so beautiful, she was the ultimate teen and everybody just worshiped her. To see what's unfolding, being carried out in a stretcher in an ambulance, not even knowing where she was, it's just really very sad."

Cowell offers, "It looks to me at the moment she's out of control. If I sat down with Britney, I would, number one, remind her of all the good things in her life: her kids, her money, her success, everything. I would take her out of where she's living at the moment and tell her to live with her family, normally for five months. She's welcome to call me any time."
