Justin Timberlake Honored For Environmentalism

The Environmental Media Association will be presenting Justin Timberlake their Futures Award.

Congrats!

The award is for those who are becoming future environmental leaders in entertainment.

The EMA is giving Justin the award for his eco-friendly golf course in Tennessee, his advocacy for environmental issues and for trying to reduce his carbon footprint when he's on tour.

The president of EMA said:

[Justin is] "a great example of how you can lend your voice for positive change."

Justin doesn't stand alone as the only award holder. Maroon 5, Edward Norton and Rosario Dawson are previous honorees.

Way to save the environment, Justin!
