Oh man. This actually might be exactly what the franchise needs!

At least, according to Matt Damon!

The actor recently opened up about why he and Paul Greengrass ultimately turned down the opportunity to continue the Bourne Identity franchise with a fourth sequel, but also expressed his approval of director Tony Gilroy and replacement Jeremy Renner succeeding them - and his hopes that the pair can kick ass on screen TOGETHER in a possible fifth movie!

He says:

Looking to play a game of burning bridges, are we Matt???

During Matt Damon's recent GQ interview, he opened up about Bourne writer Tony Gilroy, and had less-than-complimentary things to say about the man!

This week's host of Saturday Night Live, Katy Perry, dressed in a green jacket and sporting pigtails while holding a tray of Cornish game hens, alongside Andy Samberg, Matt Damon dressed as a homeless person and holding a package of Depend Adjustable Underwear, and Val Kilmer dressed up like The Nutty Professor, all while shooting a sketch for the variety show on the streets of New York City yesterday!

We can't even begin to imagine how all of this will fit into a segment, but we imagine it's going to be one HELL of a Digital Short!

Things just got personal in Hollywood.

A war of words was exchanged between producer Scott Rudin and film critc David Denby.

All over a film review. A favorable film review.

Denby recently announced that his review of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo would be released eight days before the film's embargo date.

In a letter to Rudin, Denby tries to explain why the review is so early.

He writes:

What the what!

Fox is sneaking We Bought A Zoo, the new Matt Damon movie, on Thanksgiving weekend — which is four weeks EARLIER than it's release!

Which means they're banking on generating buzz coming into the holiday season as it's going up against some other movies this holiday that might steal the focus. Here's what Fox said:

“Once in a while, we’re lucky enough to have a picture to which audiences of all kinds and all ages respond so strongly, that it demands a big and unexpected event. We Bought A Zoo is that kind of picture – and Thanksgiving is a great time to share it via this special very early preview.”

Still, it might be cool to catch it before a lot of people — though it is a WIDE sneak, so you might be able to see it pretty easily on that Saturday after Thanksgiving!

A new trailer for the Matt Damon movie We Bought A Zoo is out.

The movie, also starring Scarlett Johansson, is basically about a man who buys a house in the country, but there's a catch. It's also a zoo.
