Katy Perry is a talkative lil' Tic-Tac these days!
Not only has she revealed the crazy way Russell Brand dumped HER in the latest issue of Vogue, she even revealed her current state of mind when it comes to John Mayer!
Despite her frequent sightings with friend Robert Pattinson, the outings with John are the ones filled with butterflies.
And though their official status of boyfriend/girlfriend has yet to be announced publicly, she makes no secret of her feelings in the interview, saying:
"I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."
Aww, we love that analogy!
This response came after Vogue questioned her about the speculation that she was only dating John to get back at Russell.
And she answered it like a champ!

Well, something is in the air because it seems Katy Perry and John Mayer are making some sort of relationship work despite splitting with each other twice before.
We've been hearing rumblings about a rekindled romance for a little bit now, and from the sound of their latest rumored outing, those rumblings are true!
The two were supposedly spotted hanging out at a West Hollywood hotel, but they weren't alone because they brought about 15 of their closest buddies…or entourage, in Hollywood talk!
But don't go thinking these two are going to be laying PDA all over each other because they allegedly sat apart from each other while enjoying the night out. We totes understand, distance does make the heart grow fonder!
