Last night, Jake Gyllenhaal and his facial hair came out to surpport his longtime friend Michelle Williams at the premiere of her new movie, My Week With Marilyn.

It's nice that they've stayed friends all these years. Wonder if she ever chats with Anne Hathaway the way he does?

Really, truly. We're very impressed.

Rather than choosing an actress with a public (and sometimes disturbing) obsession with the late, great Marilyn Monroe for this movie, The Weinstein Company picked Michelle Williams for the iconic part - and they should never regret that decision.

We can't believe it's almost been four years since the tragic death of Heath Ledger.

When he died, it was like the world stopped a little bit.

Not only did he leave behind close friends and family, he also left behind Michelle Williams, his ex-fiance, and their daughter, Matilda Rose.

After his death, Michelle didn't address it with the public. She couldn't. It was too hard.

But now, she's finally opening up, really opening up, on the grieving period and how she manages to cope til this day.

Waaaay back in October, we got a first look at Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn (above), and we thought she looked EXQUISITE!

This October, New York Film Festival goers will get to experience her exquisiteness for themselves, because Michelle's Marilyn movie will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Lincoln Center in NYC.

Here's what festival chief Richard Pena had to say about the film in a statement:

Last night, Kelly Rowland celebrated the release of her new album Here I Am at the Moet Rose Lounge in New York City. A lot of celebs were in attendence, but dutifully by her side were her former Destiny's Child girls Queen B and Michelle Williams, showing their girl all kinds of support.

True friendship!!!
