Joel Madden posted the news on his website that his girl, Nicole Richie, is recovering after her recent visit to the hospital for pneumonia.

He wrote to his fans:

"So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically Went straight to the hospital for the week. But don't worry all is well and We are home with no problems."

We feel it is a legitimate question.

As we mentioned yesterday, Nicole Richie was admitted to the hospital Wednesday due to suffering from pneumonia.

Sources close to Nicole are suggesting that the starlet and mother of two had been working “nonstop” over the past few months and needs some serious down time.

But again we have to ask, working on what???

She punched out a baby and since then, she's been kind of low key.

Don't make it sound like she was jet-setting around the world for the last few months. We don't even think she left Cali!

But regardless of why she is in the hospital, we still hope she feels better.

Also, we'd like it if she provided her so-called friends more accurate information so when they blab to the press, we don't have to decipher shiz.

Poor thing!

It has been confirmed that Nicole Richie was admitted to Cedars Sinai hospital today, Wednesday, suffering from pneumonia!

We hear she checked herself in and as of now is doing "well".

We hope you get better soon, bb!

Last month, Nicole Richie was granted a temporary restraining order against paparazzo Bam Bam (Eduardo Arrivabene) as well as his partner, Ivon Miguel.

According to legal docs filed by Nicole, the two paps would regularly "sit outside [her] house, waiting for [her] to leave," and "scream at [Richie] in an attempt to her [her] reaction," as well as chase Richie in their car.

Bam Bam is the pap who Nicole claims caused the car accident she had last month.

But finally, a judge has decided to issue an official restraining order against the paparazzo and his partner.

The restraining order will be in effect for three years and the two must stay at least 50 yards away from Richie and her kids at all times.

And it was all because of Britney Spears' VAJAYJAY!

Nicole Richie's babydaddy, Joel Madden, and brother Benji were being interviewed on Australia's FOX FM when the hosts apparently took it too far by testing out the theory that twins can sense what the other is feeling.

Benji was blindfolded while Joel was given that famous picture of Brit Brit showing off her lady bits when he told hosts Matt and Jo "I think I'm pretty laid back dude, but you guys are getting on my nerves."

The two apologized and moved on the the next challenge, but Joel had had enough and got up and left telling Benji "we're outta here".

Yikes! Who knew Britney's vajayjay could make someone so mad???

But Joel eventually cooled off Tweeting:

Done for the day. Nice one. This mornings radio thing wasn't that big a deal. Just didn't want to waste anyone's time. Nothing news worthy

We can't say we blame him. Sounded pretty stoopid to us.

This weekend, many celebs attended the March of Dimes 4th Annual Celebration of Babies held at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The event works as a fundraiser while recognizing celebrities who've recently had babies.

And on the red carpet was none other than Nicole Richie.

Richie gave birth to her second child, Sparrow James Midnight Madden just two months ago. But you'd never guess it by looking at the pictures!

What is her secret????

A Los Angeles judge has granted Nicole Richie a temporary restraining order against paparazzo Bam Bam as well as his partner, Ivon Miguel.

The paps have been given the order to stay at least 100 yards away from Richie, as well as her kids Harlow and Sparrow, at all times.

According to legal docs filed by Nicole, the two paps would regularly "sit outside [her] house, waiting for [her] to leave," and "scream at [Richie] in an attempt to her [her] reaction," as well as chasing Richie in their car.

Nicole alleges that their abuse has caused her "severe emotional distress" and she fears that if the restraining order were to not be granted, another accident may happen, but "this time with [Richie's] infant children in the vehicle."

Seriously!

Nicole and the paps are due back in court on November 16th to decide whether or not to extend the restraining order.

We say yes!

Nicole Richie is seeking a restraining order against paparazzo Bam Bam that caused the car accident she had earlier this month.

She has both private investigators and lawyers involved because of the crash.

We wonder what else has gone on besides Bam Bam hitting her car? Seems a bit strange to get a restraining order for a one-time offender.

We're sure the truth will come out soon enough!

Nobody seems to care about Nicole Richie and her growing family!

People magazine, which usually sells 1.4 million copies a week, just barely cracked the 1 million mark with the Nicole Richie baby cover, making it one of the worst-selling issues of the year!

And People supposedly paid in the mid six-figures for the pics.

Ouch!

This happens at the heels of one of their best-selling issues with Jaycee Dugard on the cover, which sold 2 million copies.

You win some, you lose some!
