Starlets are going gaga for TV guest appearances!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nicole Richie just landed a one-off role on the NBC show Chuck.

Richie will be playing a snarky/spiteful girl who tortured one of the main characters back in high school.

The show's producer said, "Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny. This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It's going to be really fun."

In addition to her upcoming appearance on Chuck, Nicole is also pitching around a new reality TV show, starring her, of course.

Joel Madden is pissed that Star magazine reported that he and Nicole Richie are going to walk down the aisle later this month.

Not true, says he.

And, the Good Charlotte rocker took to his blog to set the record straight!

He says:

"So i feel really stupid even posting this, but i've been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren't invited to my wedding. I guess the only answer i could give them was that i didnt know we were having one. So i just found out that star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and thats where it came from. Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, dont blame me, theres nothing to worry about. Its just star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? i give them a week or two……"

Not that there's anything wrong with Glendale, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are looking to move out!

The pair have been living in the Good Charlotte rocker's house for over a year, but now they're looking to set up their own, new home together. And, they wanna be more centrally located.

Joela nd Nicole were spied house-hunting in Beverly Hills Wednesday.

One option the couple visited, according to a source, was a $1.6 million Beverly Hills house that is described as a Cape Cod mini-estate. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, pool and a kitchen outfitted with state-of-the-art Viking and Sub-Zero appliances.

Fancy!

Additionally, Joel and brother Benji's estranged dad, who lives in Maryland, is in town this week to spend more time with his sons and his granddaughter.

No wonder Nicole Richie was trying to hide behind her friend - her hair was a hot mess yesterday.

The new mom took a break from baby to indulge in a little shopping with a friend Wednesday on Melrose.

A visit to the hair salon might be good too!

But, hey, at least she's looking healthy and happy these days!

Paris isn't the only to have all the fun and make the dinero!

According to reports, Simple Life 'star' Nicole Richie is pitching a reality show to the TV nets.

And, get this…the show revolves around the search for the next Nicole Richie.

According to someone who's been pitched the idea, the 'reality' show would take seven girls from across the U.S. and test their ability to achieve insta-fame, a la Richie style!

Nicole and a panel of judges would then whittle down the competition in preparation for the live finale.

The winner would receive her own reality show.

Noooooooooooo!!!

Word is at least three cable networks are interested in the pitch.

Would U watch this show????

Having a baby really does bring the family together!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter, Harlow, have done just that.

The Simple Life alum has recently gotten closer to her birth mother and, now, her rocker beau has done the same with his dad!

Joel and his twin brother Benji Madden had not spoken to their father, Roger Combs, for over 10 years - since he walked out on the family.

Roger, who's a recovering alcoholic, left his fam when Benji & Joel were high school freshman. He later returned to only leave again for good, this time on Christmas Eve when the two were 16.

Ever since then, the two have changed their last name to their mother's maiden name, Madden, and haven't spoken to their dad since.

That is until the birth of Harlow.

Ever since her birth back in January, Roger says he began receiving text messages from his sons.

AND, now he's ’bout to be fucking things up by talking to the media about it!

Recently, after a Good Charlotte concert in New Jersey, Joel, Nicole, Benji and baby Harlow drove to Bowie, MD to visit Roger.

After holding his granddaughter for the first time, Roger tells In Touch Weekly, "It was a wonderful moment. She's such a beautiful girl. I felt very proud."

And as for Nicole, Roger says he feels she's already part of the family, telling the mag, "She's the sweetest girl anyone in their life could want as a daughter. Nicole's such a loving person and she has a great sense of humor. I've told Joel, 'Don't let this one get away. This one is a keeper for you, son.'"

And Roger says Nicole feels the same way.

He adds, "I was talking to Joel on the phone one day, and she grabbed the phone from him and said, 'Let me talk to him now. I want to talk to my dad.'"

And, taking a page from the Michael Lohan book of parenting and talking to the media, Roger continued talking.

He added about leaving his family behind that "My kids were mad at me, and I don't blame them. We are good today, and that's all that matters."

We love it. Keep on yapping!

Next, he should tell us if Nicole and Joel be getting married soon? What are the details?
