Sylvester Stallone Is Producing A Rambo TV Show — But Will He Return As The Lead Character?

| Filed under: TV NewsFilm FlickersSylvester StalloneNostalgia

It looks like yet ANOTHER aging film franchise is headed to the small screen — Fox is developing a TV series based on the Rambo action films!

Rambo: New Blood will be produced by Sylvester Stallone, who played the titular character in the films!

This new series will explore the relationship between John Rambo and his son J.R., an ex-Navy SEAL. Sly has an option to reprise the role of his famous gun-wielding action hero, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

Photos: Stallone's Wife & Daughters Steal The Spotlight At His Premiere!

The original 1982 flick First Blood followed Vietnam vet John Rambo, who fights against the authorities of a small town after they arrest and abuse him.

Three sequels followed — 1985's Rambo: First Blood Part II, 1988's Rambo III, and 2008's Rambo!

Hopefully, Stallone decides to step back into the role — we couldn't see any other actor portraying the trigger happy gunman!
