Vanessa Hudgens has decided that she will no longer do musicals!

Geez, that sounds awfully familiar!!

"It's great! I mean, I love musicals, I really do," says Whatsherface. "I grew up doing them, so it'll always have a place in my heart … at the same time, it's nice to be able to separate the two and just be able to focus on films. It's a lot of fun playing different characters and taking on new journeys."

She has such range!!!!

The serious actress continues, "Honestly, I'm kind of taking a break from music right now. I'm just focusing on films and acting. I feel like when I'm doing something I really want, [I] focus on that and try to not spread myself all over the place."

We've seen VaneXXXa spread herself all over and it wasn't pretty!!!

"I'm always up for anything musically," said V-Hudge. "I think it's so much fun. Just as long as I'm not singing in the movie."

Like she is getting enough offers to be choosy!

Catch a glimpse above of what's to come in the new flick Beastly, a modern retelling of the classic story Beauty & The Beast.

The movie, stars Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and yummy newcomer Alex Pettyfer and from the looks of it, we're sensing a Gossip Girls meets Teen Wolf vibe from this flick.

As per usual, Whats-Her-Face sounds stupid, and MK looks stoned.

Well, this is a definite step down from The Wackness (good film).

Mary-Kate Olsen is slated to star in a crappy remake of Beauty and the Beast entitled Beastily.

The movie itself sounds like it could be kind of cool, but some idiot decided to cast Vanessa Hudgens as the lead. And she's not the beast!

Terrible decisions all around.

MKO will be playing the ditched date of the leading man, and thus she puts a spell on him to make him super fugly.

Then, he stays like that until he finds true love with Vadge.

So, not only is MKO doing this crap, she isn't even the lead?

Don't you have a billion dollar empire? Please explain to us why you are doing this travesty?

Wow.

She still actually thinks she will have a career!

When asked about future roles, VaneXXXa Hudgens recently revealed that she would consider roles involving nudity.

She says: "I will show nudity in a film when the time is right. Right now, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time's right, if it's an amazing movie that I'm really passionate about and that's what it calls for, then we'll see."

Only if you were naked alongside Zac Efron would we even begin to care!

Vadge's next two films are: Beastly, a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast and Sucker Punch! a story of a girl who is sent to a mental institution by her wicked stepfather.

Next, can she star in a film where she is killed in the first 15 minutes by being trampled by the thousands upon thousands of women more beautiful and talented then she is?

Vanessa Hudgens is set to star in an upcoming modern retelling of the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.

No, she's not playing the role of the Beast.

Vadge will actually be playing the role of the beautiful heroine who teaches a bratty rich guy that true beauty comes from within.

For some reason we think we might have a hard time suspending our disbelief for this!
