As you probably know by now, Will Smith seems to own the July 4th weekend for movie releases.

His Independence Day, Men In Black, and Men In Black 2 movies have netted millions over the holiday weekend.

So, it's no shocker that his latest film, Hancock, is out this July 4th as well.

The movie is already off to a good start and its expected to make over $100 mill this weekend.

Unfortunately for all those involved, the movie is getting shiteous reviews!

Many have speculated that the school Will Smith and her husband, Jada, are opening in LA this September is really a Scientology indoctrination center.

In an LA Times report , the head mistress of HanCOCK's school basically says the Scientology school front talk is nonsense.

She says the school's teachers are of all religions and that one of the teaching methods the school will be employing ('study technology') is erroneously attributed to Scientology. The school boss says, "People tend to think study technology is a subject, but it is really just the way the subject is taught. They then come to the conclusion that we are teaching Scientology when actually a methodology doesn't have anything to do with content."

The paper goes on to point out that critics argue Will's school is not being honest about its links to Scientology.

David S. Touretzky, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University, created a website that dissects study technology and asserts that in the case of the Smiths' school, it is Scientology religion disguised as education.

The Prof said many phrases and concepts on the school's website are specific to Scientology.

For example, the school lists a "Director of Qualifications" and another teacher who is an assistant in the "Qual" department. The "Qual," said Touretzky, is where people who have completed a Scientology counseling, or "auditing," session or a course in the Church of Scientology are tested by a qualifications teacher.

"There is no reputable educator anywhere who endorses [study technology]," said Touretzky, a critic of Scientology. "What happens is that children are inculcated with Scientology jargon and are led to regard L.R. Hubbard as an authority figure. They are laying the groundwork for later bringing people into Scientology."

Ron Reynolds, executive director of the California Assn. of Private School Organizations, which represents primarily independent religious schools, tells the Times that all schools should strive for transparency.

"I know next to nothing about Scientology, but if you're using some method or technology closely associated with Scientology and Scientology is characterized as a church or religious body, it raises a question if they proclaim themselves as other than religious," Reynolds said.

He has not seen the school's website but went on to say, "I don't want to insinuate the school is failing to disclose anything. But as a matter of good practice, if a school has an affiliation, it would behoove it to expose it."

If the critics are right, why do you have to be all shady, Will?

Will Smith is standing up for his good pal Tom Cruise .

The HanCOCK star wants y'all to stop knocking Tom for being a Scientologist!

In a new interview Jada's wife says, "That's painful for me to see. I've met very few people committed to goodness the way Tom is. We disagree on a lot of things. … But even with different faiths and different beliefs, at the end of the day, goodness is goodness."

Nice! Way to remind us that you're proclaiming in public your non-Scientologist ways.

As we've previously mentioned, Will's on his way to box office history. If Hancock opens to big numbers, as expected, he'll be the first actor to score 8 consecutive $100 million movies.

Tom, the former box office champ is trying to one-up Will, though!

Apparently the two have this ongoing autograph face off thing going…they see who can sign fan autographs longer.

The Fresh Prince says, "It's hard to beat that dude. He has another gear. He did 2 1/2 hours in France for Mission: Impossible on the red carpet. Now when I go to France, people will say, 'You know, Tom was out here for 2 1/2 hours.' "

Jada Plinko Smith was snapped at the premiere of daughter Willow's movie, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, in the NYC on Thursday and she was NOT happy.

A spywitness tells us exclusively that Jada was having a little 'flip out session' in this photo because a reporter asked her if she thought her hubby Will Smith and Charlize Theron were having a affair in Russia.

What???? That's a fair question!

Charlize and Will have been caught nuzzling and getting all sorts of creepy on international red carpets this past week, as they promote their new film, Hancock.

Hmmm…

Is this all just a publicity stunt to get us to talk about the movie???

Will Smith will probs be the undisputed #1 movie star in the world in a few weeks.

According to industry predictions, Smith's new flick, Hancock, (in theaters July 2nd) is destined for a $140-$150 million opening weekend, which would mark the 8th consecutive film for Will that would make $100 million or more at the box office!

Wills must be glad that the box office curse plaguing his good friend, Tom Cruise hasn't rubbed off on him!

We have to admit that we think Hancock's superhero needs rehab storyline is pretty clever.

Plus, funnyman Jason Bateman is in the flick.
