Well, that’s quite a sight!
Taylor Swift will finally be making her New Girl appearance on the show’s May 14th finale! YAY!!
The episode that centers on Cece and Shivrang’s wedding is all about the romance — something Tay Tay clearly knows a lot about — and features the country singer as one of the wedding guests.
On meeting Taylor, showrunner Liz Meriwether gushed:
“I’m a huge fan of hers… I was fully geeking out about meeting [Taylor]. I didn’t go to meet her right away because I kind of had to compose myself — there’s a 14-year-old girl inside of me.”
Guess Taylor felt the same way when she was caught reciting some of the show’s lines back to Liz!
As for Taylor’s acting, the showrunner added:

And just like that, the tights are back!
Zooey Deschanel hit the red carpet of a special New Girl screening at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles last night. Joined by her co-stars, the actress grinned from ear to ear in her adorbs crop top and striped beige-green skirt.
Ch-ch-check out more red carpet photos (below)!
The special screening also included a Q&A with the cast, after which Zooey thanked those in attendance:
She’s just too sweet!

Zooey Deschanel was obviously VERY surprised to find out that she was involved in the Boston Bombings…
Or rather, she was involved according to the TV closed caption writers at Caption Solutions!
When the story surrounding the Boston attacks was still developing, the New Girl's name was mistakenly inserted in a closed caption about the man hunt for the now captured Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.
The caption read:
"Marathon bombing, he is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel"
So, to rectify their EPIC captions fail, the people over at the Kansas based company Caption Solutions issued a formal apology stating that they "deeply regret" the mistake and they "sincerely apologize for this error."
And even though wrongly accusing someone of being a suspect in a TERROR plot is SUPER awful, we're sure Zooey will accept their apology like the classy lady she is.

Well, this isn't on the potentially-dangerous scale of CNN's incompetence covering the Boston Marathon bombings this past week, but it certainly is worth raising an eyebrow over!
Especially as it implicates our beloved Zooey Deschanel in the tragedy!
That's right, apparently, a closed captioning program used on a local Fox station misunderstood the news anchor's pronunciation of 19-year-old suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev during their coverage of the 24-hour manhunt that took place in Watertown, Massachusetts yesterday, and transcribed it for all viewers to see as:

O.M.G!!
Adorkable overload!!
As if Zooey Deschanel’s goofy cuteness wasn’t enough on New Girl, Taylor Swift is making it a double dose as a guest star on the hit comedy.
The super New Girl fan is all set to live out a dream come true for the May 14th season finale episode.
Swifty will be playing

As if we needed any more reasons to love Zooey Deschanel!
She tweeted a pic of two adorbzaballs puppies sleeeeeepin together and being super cute.
Best part??
They're her new rescue pups Zelda and Dot!!
She tweeted a pic (above) and wrote:

Living strawberry-filled hard candy from your grandmother's sweets jar, Zooey Deschanel, has been spotted with some irregularities on her beautiful eyes!
We have no idea what those bumps are!
Assuming she's trying some new makeup, maybe it's a reaction or something?
