The Japanese take their pets seriously!

Much like the nations "Coming Of Age Day" taking place on the second Monday of each year in which 20-year-old's celebrate being able to vote and drink alcohol, pets are celebrated after turning 1.

Many pet owners seem to think that an animal is no different then a human and they deserve a celebration to wish them a long and happy life.
