Stephen Colbert Dedicates The Colbert Report's Opener To Boston; Watch HERE!

Monday’s Boston bombings marked yet another horrible day in this country’s history. What’s more, it’s two days later, and we’re still not in the clear.

But despite the tragedy and chaos, Bostonians’ resilience is unyielding. It’s no wonder Stephen Colbert dedicated the opening of The Colbert Report to them.

Ch-ch-check out the his heartfelt and inspiring tribute (above)!

In the meantime, here are just a few of his quotes worth mentioning more than once:

"Whoever did this obviously did not know about the people of Boston. Nothing these terrorists do is going to shake them… For Pete's sake, Boston was founded by the Pilgrims, a people so tough, they had to buckle their goddamn hats on."

Jennifer Lawrence Beware! Jena Malone's Catching Fire Capitol Portrait Is Perfectly Creepy!

jena malone catching fire capitol portrait johanna creepy hunger games

OK, this one is scurry!

Catching Fire's latest Capitol Portrait just found it's way to the internet and we want to be the first to show you a glimpse of the eerily enchanting Johanna Mason!

Played by the lovely Jena Malone, we see a quiet malevolence behind the girl from District 7. Frankly,he creepy gaze is freakin' us the fudge out, LOLz!!

As a former Hunger Games victor, we imagine the character partook in some nasty shenanigans to earn that triple-frightening look on her face!

We wouldn't want to be the last person standing between this crazed woman and and victory!

We're still betting all of Peeta's dough on our favorite tribute, Jennifer Lawrence!

May the odds be ever in Catnip's favor… especially when it comes to kicking some D7 butt!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueEtc.

titanic 2 bad idea tribute ship replica authentic

We can think of 1,502 reasons as to why building a close replica and naming a ship the Titanic 2 is a bad idea — and not just in bad taste.

Those lives lost deserve much more than a gimmick boat named after the poorly planned ship that killed them!

Clive Palmer, the guy building the thing, disagrees and says the replica will look and feel just like the original Titanic… out of respect! Here's what he says:

Kobe Bryant & Magic Johnson Show Their Praise Toward Jerry Buss During Moving Tribute

Filed under: R.I.P.Sad SadBasketballKobe BryantMagic Johnson

It's only been a few days since the Lakers owner, Jerry Buss passed, and he's already being missed like craaaazzzzy.

On Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant took center court at the Staples Center to pay tribute to the NBA legend and to get the crowd to join him in a moment of silence, and once the lights went off… we couldn't help but tear up.

Bryant was lucky enough to deliver his speech without crying all over his warmup suit, but as soon as Magic Johnson began to show his respects toward Jerry at the ESPN studios, the water works almost went everywhere.

Dr. Buss died at 80 from kidney failure, which stemmed from complications from cancer.

The NBA will never be the same again.

Rest in peace, Jerry.
