Poor thing! The last 48 hours must have been really awful for her.
Yesterday, CBS2 reporter Serene Branson dropped onto everyone’s radar when her telecast from the Grammys went viral.(above) She seemed to have been experiencing some issues with her speech and many were concerned that she had suffered a stroke on air.
CBS released a statement, insisting that Serene was alright and that she was looked over by EMTs at the scene who deemed her to be healthy. However, in a new statement issued by the network, we’ve learned that she was taken to a doctor yesterday for further medical testing. The statement reads:
As many of you know CBS2 reporter Serene Branson experienced some health-related problems last night during our post-Grammys newscast.
She was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized.
As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home. And while Serene says she is feeling better today, she wants us to know she followed-up with a visit to the doctor for some medical tests.
Serene thanks everyone for their concern and good wishes and hopes to be back on the air very soon.
So sad! We really hope she isn’t suffering from anything too serious.
We’re sending you some good vibes, bb!
