One Direction Takes Home Top New Artist At Billboard Music Awards

That’s ROOOIIIIGHT, boys!!!
We’d hardly call them “New Artists,” considering they’ve been slaying Directioner hearts since 2010, but we’ll take it!
One Direction won the Top New Artist awards at the Billboard Music Awards, which is a pret-ty big deal considering their competition was Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, The Lumineers, and PSY.
But, this was also a big night for 1D! While they were keeping girls Up All Night during their Take Me Home concert performance, in Verona, they took away THREE awards total, including Top Pop Artist, Top Duo/Group!
What a friggin’ HUGE week for the boys!! Congrats, gentlemen! Well deserved!
