Ali Landry's Tips On How To Deal With Picky Eaters

Being a Mom is hard work.
One of the toughest parts is getting your kids to eat healthy foods without making them.
It’s an art, and Ali Landry is the MASTER at it. That’s why she’s here EXCLUSIVELY to help Perezitos.com readers deal with picky eaters.
Here’s what The Hollywood Moms star said:

“Picky eaters├óΓé¼┬ªthere├óΓé¼Γäós one in every family.
In mine, it’s my 4-yeard-old daughter Estela. A finicky toddler, shocking I know. Trying to force a child to eat something they don’t like is a battle you can’t win, it just results in a big mess and bad moods for everyone involved.  That’s why in my house our one rule regarding food is if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it, but you have to at least try it first.
I also feel it’s important for Estela to participate in the whole process and to start learning about nutrition. She helps me prepare her meals and I explain to her why certain foods are healthy and why we should eat them, and how there are others that are not so good for us. She loves adding chia seeds to her oatmeal and orange juice while singing “ch-ch-ch-chia!” She is also my sous-chef when I prepare Marcelo’s baby food, so she gets to taste all kinds of fresh new things and decides that she loves them too.
I am also a fan of the tried and true technique of camouflaging healthy foods within yummy but inconspicuous snacks, like adding spinach or avocado to a strawberry-banana-yogurt smoothie, or pureed zucchini to brownies. Everybody wins!”

Oh, Ali. You’re so sneaky. WE LOVE IT!!!
