Amazon has cracked down on a third-party seller after getting hit with a wave of social media backlash.
A seller called Styleart was selling novelty clothing, mugs, tote bags, and — yes — baby bibs, with the words “Slavery Gets Shit Done” on them.

As people discovered the offensive, racially charged “joke” merchandise and where to find it, they began talking about boycotting Amazon entirely.

Amazon’s policy on third-party sellers does not allow “products that promote or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual, or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views.”
Since learning of the line, the company has taken quick action. A spokesperson told People:
“All Marketplace sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who don’t will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The products in question are no longer available.”
How did these products end up on Amazon in the first place?
Something tells us the insane amount of stuff available to purchase on the site makes policing something of a chore. But it’s one that needs to be done…
