'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown Gets Candid About Slut-Shaming, Losing Her Virginity, & Her Number Of Sexual Partners!

Bachelorette Hannah Brown Slut-Shamed Sexual Partners Losing Virginity

It turns out there is something worth falling in love with on this season of The Bachelorette — we are head over heels for how much Hannah Brown is standing up for herself!

The Alabama native is making no apologies for being herself and doing the things we all do — no matter what some man thinks.

On Monday’s episode, we finally saw one of the big moments the reality show has teased all season — Luke Parker totally slut-shaming Hannah!

The 24-year-old ruined a one-on-one date night — and his chances — by basically telling his fellow Christian she was going against God if she hooked up with any guys on the show.

Apparently the importer/exporter (isn’t that the fake job George Costanza always used on Seinfeld?) decided to become celibate again until he gets married, and declared his woman should do the same.

Hannah sent his judgmental butt packing, at least for the evening, and it was a shot across the bow of men who use religion to control women everywhere.

As the Bachelorette tells People, she’s grateful for how the “toxic relationship” played out if it helped others:

“It was a very candid version of that for people to witness and to maybe see some similarities that they might have in their relationship and [ask], ‘Is this something that I’m dealing with and do I need to end this relationship?’ Or, ‘Have I been in a relationship that has hurt me before and has it caused insecurities in me now and what do I need to do to move forward?'”

We’re sure it was helpful for a lot of women to see.

However, Hannah is also surprised she ended up being the woman representing that particular argument. She says:

“I sit with people who know me the most and think, ‘How have I become the sex girl?’ Like, I had only kissed five guys and I had sex with my two long relationship boyfriends.”

See, she doesn’t see it, but this is why she became the voice for these women. Because she isn’t afraid to speak up.

She’s just this completely candid open book of a person, and it’s remarkably refreshing. She even tells People when she lost her virginity with no prompting at all!

“College was the first time. It wasn’t like I was what anybody would call ‘promiscuous.’ And then now I’ve been slut-shamed for it.”

Aww.

Hannah says the slut-shaming started when the show started showing her “making out” with multiple guys — though she points out it wasn’t the whole dang group, just the “same three or four guys.”

In any case, Hannah is done with being made to feel shame for something so many people do in their search for love:

“It’s just not okay because this show is about trying to find a husband and a part of a relationship, a marriage, is physical intimacy. And if I want to make out with a guy, I’m going to make out with them.”

Preach it, gurl!
