Johnny Depp's Costar Rufus Needs A New Home! Gets The Deets On Helping Bahooka's Famous Fish HERE!

You’d think people would be lining up in the streets to take home this piece of LA history!
But that does not seem to be case, as of yet!
The infamous tiki bar Bahooka in Rosemead, CA has been a carrot-chomping Pacu fish’s home for over 30 years, but the giant sea creature known as Rufus may be out of a tank real soon!
That’s because Bahooka is being gutted to become a Chinese restaurant.
A former cook at the restaurant has been feeding him every morning, but he’s been living in the dark and despite a desperate plea on Twitter to find him a new home, so far, no luck.
Word is that the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach and even Neil Patrick Harris himself have been interested in adopting Rufus, but the fish who once had a starring role along side Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas may be up sh-t creek without a paddle. Or a fin. Or…. WE CAN’T MAKE JOKES AT THIS TIME WHEN A BEAUTIFUL FISH’S LIFE IS ON THE LINE.
The thing is, the rest of the Bahooka tiki restaurant will be going to Clifton’s Cafeteria, located in Downtown L.A., why can’t they also take care of the most beautiful slow-moving fish ever??
