Well that’s a relief!
Last week we heard terribly tragic rumors that Barbara Walters was retiring from The View!
As it turns out, all those whispers are premature! The 83-year-old Queen of broadcast journalism isn’t itching to get off her throne anytime soon!
Furthermore, she’s pissed anyone might even suggest it!
On this morning’s episode, Babs revealed:
“There were many reports last week saying that I was retiring from ABC, and there was an assumption that I would be making an announcement today, However, here I am, and I have no announcements to make… I do want to say this, that if and when I might have an announcement to make, I would do it on this program, I promise, and the paparazzi guys, you will be the last to know.├óΓé¼┬¥
Ahh, the old non-announcement announcement! The oldest trick in the book!
While the gracious TV host was perturbed her fans bought into the rumors, Barbara still never denied them!!
Hmmm, if it were up to us she’d host her own network until she were 116!
