We really hope this isn’t true…
FOX News anchor Bill O’Reilly has apparently been involved in a very tumultuous custody battle with his ex-wife for the past three years, and we’re starting to hear some of the terrifying details of what broke up their marriage.
Bill and his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy separated in 2010 before finalizing their divorce in late 2011, but originally agreed to share custody of their two children.
However, after Maureen learned that Bill had been using his money and position of power to tarnish her reputation and shirk his parental duties, she decided to petition the court for sole custody.

That is how a Nassau County Supreme Court justice eventually heard testimony from the couple’s 16-year-old daughter that awarded Maureen custody.
According to reports, Bill’s daughter told a forensic examiner that prior to her parents’ split, she witnessed her father drag her mother down a staircase by her neck!
Bill has denied the allegations as “100 percent false,” but, as it stands, Maureen has custody over the children for whatever reason the court found justifiable.
Whether the claims are true or not, we just hope everyone involved in the case stays safe!
