A pastel fantasy!!
Taylor Swift and Panic! at the Disco‘s Brendon Urie opened up the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday with their new hit ME! — and the performance was a total crowd pleaser!!

Opting to open the show with a ton of energy and then some, Taylor and Brendon gave us a total crowd pleaser — and host Kelly Clarkson seriously loved it in her own little intro alongside Terry Crews afterwards!
As you know, Tay premiered her new single on April 26, with a fun, flirty, and super stylized video featuring the Kinky Boots star. Opening with a marching band drum line (all dressed in pink!), and rainbow colored, pastel-inspired shiny outfit choices for Taylor, Brendon, and all the dancers, the opener made for a VERY colorful and fun intro to this year’s BBMAs! We were loving it just like the celebs in the audience seemed to be, too!
She hasn’t revealed just when her new album will drop, but did share that it’s ready for ears and very different from the lead track. Color us intrigued — ha! Get it?!
The song hasn’t grown on us quite as much… but the performance here was fun! A good intro, nicely done, good choreography, solid choices! We’ll take it! And as for the show itself… we’re off!!! Here we go!
