Breaking Bad Fans Call 9-1-1 After Their Cable Went Out!

As any Breaking Bad fan knows, it’s a CRIME to miss even a single episode of the AMC series. So much so that when the cable goes out, some of them actually called the authorities!

During Sunday night’s episode, a Cablevision outage in Connecticut caused several fans to pick up their phones and report the problem to the police!

The Fairfield Police Department even posted a message on their Facebook page urging people to stop calling them! Their request read:

“We are receiving numerous 911 calls regarding the Cablevision outage. This is neither an emergency or a police related concern. Please direct your inquiries to Cablevision. 911 should only be called for Life Threatning Emergencies ONLY. Misuse of the 911 system may result in an arrest.”

Um, YEAH!!! What were these people HIGH?!? Who calls 9-1-1 with a TV problem?!

New reports say that only one call was placed to the 9-1-1 emergency line, while several others were directed to the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center.

Chill out, Connecticut! We’re sure AMC will re-air this week’s episode!

And as for Cablevision, you better make sure all systems are up and running because there are only 6 more episodes to go in the series! Now is not the time to toy with our emotions!

Would YOU ever call 9-1-1 if you couldn’t watch your favorite show???
