Considering Camila Cabello would rather sit alone in her bathroom than hang out with the lovely ladies of Fifth Harmony, this isn’t entirely a surprise…
In fact, it became pretty clear how much the 19-year-old dislikes Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui when she quit the girl group “via her representatives.”
A source even confirmed to PEOPLE that the gorgeous gals weren’t exaggerating in their social media statement about Miz Cabello’s dramatic departure, and actually “found out from [Cabello’s] representatives, not her.”

Sooooo she didn’t even have the decency to face her bandmates and explain she was leaving… even after they had JUST performed together that night?!
That’s pretty cold. AND pretty telling.
Plus, another insider told the mag that the divide between the teen and the other girls was 5H’s worst-kept secret, saying:
“They hadn’t gotten along. Camila never made it a secret she planned to do her own thing eventually.”
People in the music industry also weren’t surprised; one confidante in the biz confessed:
“I don’t think anyone is surprised from our side. Camila has been a pioneer and has really gone out there and had some great collaborations. We knew it was only a matter of time.”
Well, maaaaaaybe the collabs weren’t so great after all, considering her duet with Machine Gun Kelly ended up on TIME‘s Worst Songs of 2016 list.
Oh, and not to mention the girl group’s smash single Work From Home was named one of the best…
Anyway, the first source insisted the problems didn’t start because of Camila’s solo aspirations, adding:
“That was never their issue because they all have solo projects in the works. The girls will be making huge announcements for the group and their solo endeavors in January.”
Soooo if the fallout wasn’t business-related, that confirms it was all Camila personality… right?
