If you were excited for Avengers: Age of Ultron, just wait…
Captain America: Civil War is less than a year away and is starting to look like it could be the biggest and best Marvel movie yet!
This weekend at Disney‘s D23 Expo in Anaheim, Marvel held their big presentation after skipping out on Comic-Con this year.

President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige took the stage and after a brief presentation on Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and due out Nov 2016, he brought both Anthony Mackie and Captain America himself Chris Evans out on stage!
Cap and Falcon were on the stage to debut some new footage for their upcoming superhero adventure, and here’s what it showed [SPOILERS]:
Civil War will have Captain America leading a new team of Avengers as there’s added political pressure to implement a system of accountability and oversight to the superhero team.
Steve will butt heads with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as they have different viewpoints on what needs to be done — Tony falls in line with the new government ideals while Cap believes in working outside their bounds — all while trying to protect the world from a new threat.
The footage that was shown depicted Captain American and his team — reportedly comprised of Falcon (Mackie), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and even villain the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) — facing off against Iron Man’s squad of Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and of course the brand new Spider-Man (Tom Holland)!
In a clip from the movie that was shown, it depicted Hawkeye and Black Widow facing off against each other while Natasha asks Hawkeye, “Are we still friends?” To which he replies “Depends how hard you hit me.”
The footage also showed a heated scene between Stark and Rogers as Iron Man tells his former ally, “Sometimes I wanna punch you in your perfect teeth.”
Dayum!
And even though Holland’s Spider-Man didn’t make an appearance, Chadwick Boseman‘s Black Panther did show up briefly both in street clothes as well as a shot of him extending his costume’s claws!
And of course they had to sprinkle in a little humor with Rudds Ant-Man showing up and meeting Cap by saying, “I know you know a lot of super people, so thinks for thanking of me! Uh├óΓé¼┬ª thanks for thinking of me.”
LOLz!
The flick also stars Martin Freeman, Emily VanCamp as Agent 13, Daniel Br├â┬╝hl as Baron Zemo, William Hurt as General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, as well as Frank Grillo as Crossbones and is due out May 6, 2016.
