Bobby Moresco, who won an Oscar for co-writing Crash, is back to work.

The writer-producer is pairing up with Artists Relations Group to portray the story of Alina Fernandez.

For those of you who might not know, Alina is the only daughter of former Cuban dictator communist leader Fidel Castro.

Alina was born from an affair Castro had while married to wife number one. Though, it wasn’t until she was 10 years old that she learned Castro was her father.

In 1993, Alina was able to escape Cuba by disguising herself as a Spanish tourist and fleeing to Spain. She then come to the US where she’s been living ever since. In exile.

Alina has recently said, “For the last 20 years, I have been trying to show what is going in my country, trying to make people be a little more aware of how glorious we are and how many limitations we have. We are your neighbors, yet you know so little about us. It’s going to be a good opportunity to show [everyone].”

The movie will not be a biopic, but rather a multiplot story that will “illustrate the Cuban and American perspectives and ideologies along with Fernandez’s story.”

They better make this into a good movie!

We guarantee you this will be another movie added to the list of banned media in Cuba that their people will never see.
