Flip Or Flop's Tarek El Moussa Reveals He Was Never Suicidal During Gun Incident, While Estranged Wife Christina Details How They're Making Things Work!

Tarek & Christina El Moussa
The united press tour continues!
Christina El Moussa appeared on Good Morning America while her ex Tarek El Moussa hit up Today on Tuesday morning to open up about their very high-profile split, and to address what’s next for their HGTV show Flip Or Flop.
The 33-year-old beauty told Michael Strahan despite all the drama that’s gone down since her and Tarek secretly split nearly a year ago, she’s doing “really, really, really good.”
Miz El Moussa shared:

“Honestly, despite everything, I’m doing really, really, really good. Tarek and I met 10 years ago at work and went through a market crash, we went through [Tarek’s] cancer, infertility. Now we’re going through a very public divorce but, despite everything, our primary focus is always will be our kids. We continue to work together and there’s a lot of false stories and a lot of hype, but in the end we’re just normal, nice people who just want to be the best parents and coworkers that we can be.”

The author went on explain that she and Tarek have no plans to discontinue working together on season 7 of their hit series:

“[We] filmed together three, four days a week and … we have a great crew. We have so much fun on set and we look forward to continuing the show. It’s our normal. We also run a seminar company together, Success Path, and every five weeks we go to Vegas together. … [We] have a great time and we’ll always be working together.”

And at the end of the day, the most important priority for the former couple is taking care of their childrenTaylor, 6, and Brayden, 18 months.
Christina said:

“Our kids are amazing. [Brayden] is, like, literally the happiest kid on the planet. He’s always in a good mood. And Taylor, she’s 6, and she’s awesome. She actually just won an award at school for being joyful, so it just shows our kids are transitioning well. Tarek and I are friends and we have a lot of support from our family. Despite everything … the kids are doing great, really great.”

To that same effect, Tarek told Today:

“The number one goal is to co-parent our children. We have to make sure we remain friendly because we have to make sure they have good parents.”

Tarek also brought up the misconception that he was suicidal when he took a gun into the Chino Hills State Park after that incident last year — an argument that cause the pair’s ultimate split.
The TV personality explained he was “absolutely never” considering taking his own life:

“There’s mountain lions, bobcats and rattlesnakes and big wildlife back there├óΓé¼┬ª I went out for a hike to scout some trails, it wasn’t even a big deal. I didn’t understand. It got really blown out of proportion.”

Instead, Christina told People the split was a long time coming — not just the result of one event:

“Like any couple, we had our share of issues. But we went through a lot in a short amount of time … I was overwhelmed. The tension between me and Tarek was high. We weren’t able to properly communicate anymore. It got to the point where we weren’t even driving to set together.”
