Former HGTV Star Christopher Dionne Arrested For Sexual Assault Of A 10-Year-Old Girl

Christopher Dionne, who starred on an HGTV pilot called Family Flip back in 2015, was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a minor on Monday.
According to reports, the 36-year-old father of two allegedly molested a 10-year-old girl during his daughter’s sleepover at his home. The incident reportedly happened as his daughter of the same age and his 14-year-old son were asleep in the same room.
He turned himself in to Connecticut State Police after an active arrest warrant was issued. The TV personality was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child. He was released on $100k bond.

The unnamed accuser told a social worker that Dionne entered the bedroom where she was sleeping and woke her up around 1:30 a.m. by reaching his hand under her pajamas to touch her buttocks. She said he later lifted up her shirt and touched her chest before taking a photo on his cellphone.
It’s reported Dionne had questioned the 10-year-old in a previous incident if she wanted to see his genitals and asked her if she was “a big girl or a little girl?” and said:

“If you tell your mom, I’ll go to jail and (my daughter) won’t have a daddy.”

The victim’s mother contacted authorities on November 27 after the second incident, and police visited his home three days later. At the time, Dionne was in California filming a new home remodeling show, House Rescue, with his twin brother for A&E. That show’s production has since been suspended in light of the allegations.
Dionne told authorities that he did have an interaction with the girl, but claimed she was awake when he returned home around 1 a.m. He said she was laying down and wrapped her arm around him and rubbed his chest. Dionne went on to say he told the girl that was “inappropriate” and “big girl stuff.” When she began to cry, Dionne claimed he rubbed her back before going back to his room. Hm.
He’s due back in court on February 14.
