A pretty worthy replacement, we’d say!
There’s been quite a few casting switch-ups in the Broadway production of La Cage aux Folles recently, now that Kelsey Grammer has left the production and gotten married to his future ex-wife, Kayte Walsh.
When he and co-star Douglas Hodge left the show February 13th, they were replaced by Harvey Fierstein and Jeffrey Tambor, but unforuntately, the latter had to give up performing on February 24th due to complications from a recent hip surgery!
However, two-time Tony nominee Christopher Sieber has been announced as his successor, and will take over the role at an unspecified date for a ‘brief engagement!’
Phew! Here’s hoping he sticks around long enough for people to be able to keep track of who’s playing who! LOLz!
