Fans are PISSED at YouTube star Danielle Cohn for suggesting she got married to, and is having a baby with Mikey Tua!
Last Friday, the Internet went into a tizzy when 16-year-old Tua posted an 18-minute video titled, “We Are Expecting… (Pt. 1/4),” in which he and his 15-year-old girlfriend are in a hotel room with some friends, preparing to tell their family that they’re pregnant.

While Tua wrote a tweet last week that read, “Expecting 08/14/19 #manibaby,” Cohn posted a photo on Instagram of her BF kissing her stomach.

However, on Saturday, Cohn shocked everyone when she posted a nearly 14-minute video titled, “We Got Married…(Pt. 2/4)” where she and her boyfriend appear to have a legitimate wedding ceremony at the Little Vegas Chapel in Sin City.
(In the state of Nevada, anyone under the age of 16 needs a court order authorizing a marriage license to be issued.)

Before you congratulate the couple… THINK AGAIN!
On Tuesday, Cohn’s mom, Jennifer, told BuzzFeed News that her daughter did NOT get married. (Via online court records for Las Vegas, no marriage license had been issued for the two.)
In fact, the momager confirmed they made the videos for “clickbait,” explaining:
“It was a YouTube video like most YouTube people do for clickbait… She committed to her best friend in Vegas… legally they can’t get married.”
Although Jennifer would not confirm or deny that Danielle is pregnant, she denied that the marriage claims were “done for a stunt,” stating the two teens “are YouTubers [who] did something… they made a promise.”
(In both videos, the couple never made it explicitly clear that they were joking.)
Needless to say, fans were none too pleased!
Some Internet users slammed the two for being horrible role models for their young fans. They wrote:
“Your parents gave you too much freedom and should be ashamed of themselves because you came out thinking you were grown when your a child a child should not have a child so you should probably think about what you done did cause yea”
“I’m sorry, I understand it’s 2019. But to have a role model, like Danielle, pregnant and married at the age of 15 just doesn’t add up. I understand the feeling of true love, honestly. But you guys have been together for 10 months. The poor souls who see things on social media and immediately think that’s the exact way to do it, are going to make a life altering decision. This life altering decision can completely ruin that person. Maybe this couple can afford what’s happening, but everyone else in the world? We are living”

In regards to the controversy, Jennifer finds it “pretty sad that this has become such a huge deal,” adding:
“People prank and do all kinds of stuff on the internet.”
Moral of the story: don’t believe everything you see on YouTube!
