Don’t call it a comeback!
Martin Short and Steve Martin — two legends themselves — were hosting A Very Stupid Conversation this weekend when a surprise guest popped out from behind the curtains: David Letterman!
Letterman ignited the audience, told them about his post-retirement life (he regrets leaving, btw), and then, the group got on the subject of very-serious presidential candidate Donald Trump.

On Trump — and about those retirement “regrets” — Letterman joked:
“I am so happy to be out of the house! I retired and I had no regrets, none. I was happy. I was complacent. I was satisfied. I was content. And then a couple of days ago, Donald Trump said he was running for president. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, ladies and gentlemen.”
LOLz — a top ten list opportunity wasted!
…or was it?! Obvi, Letterman went on with a surprise top ten list, specifically for the Donald!
