Dirty Dancing's Remake Director Brushin' His Shoulders Off

Kenny Ortega is fully aware of the hate spewed his way, but he’s ready for the challenge that lies ahead as he directs the remake of Dirty Dancing.

The beloved 80s film is a classic. Everyone knows ‘nobody puts baby in a corner.’

But some people thinking remaking such a classic is doing just that.

However, the director assures us he doesn’t want to cause any disrespect, stating:

I’m not looking for someone to fill Patrick Swayze’s shoes, or Jennifer Grey’s shoes. They’re one of a kind and they deserve to be called that.We have a big challenge and a long road ahead of us. All I can say is that I hope we can bring something unique and original to help change the naysayers minds about the film.

In our opinion, it all depends on the casting. If they got someone like Ryan Gosling, it could be A-MAZING!

But most likely it’s just going to be awful.
