Obviously the juicier Donald Trump hotel story has to do with hookers, urine, and ex-KGB spy tactics — but that one isn’t going to personally cost YOU money.
In case you hadn’t heard, Trump may have committed a grievous legal error by becoming President.

See, the Trump International Hotel stands in Washington, D.C. like a monument to Drumpf’s many conflicts of interest. His company’s lease with the federal government (the hotel is inside the Old Post Office building), specifically forbids ownership by a government official, which he clearly now is.
The POTUS has supposedly separated himself from his company BUT conveniently refuses to actually release documents proving this.
And while the General Services Administration has decided not to comment on his contract violation, corruption watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (or CREW) filed suit against Trump on Monday.
As President, Trump is being defended in the lawsuit by the Justice Department. That’s where you come in.

Taxpayers pay the salaries of the lawyers employed by the DOJ, meaning we the people are now picking the tab.
More importantly this is one POTUS that finds himself on either end of lawsuits on the reg, so get ready to pay a LOT more legal fees over the next four years.
