Eddie Redmayne is in the hunt for an Oscar tonight thanks to his unbelievably strong work in The Danish Girl, but he’s not thinking of himself this close to the award show!

Speaking to Us Weekly on Friday, all Redmayne could talk about was fellow Best Actor nominee Leonardo DiCaprio, and the superstar’s chances of winning for his work in The Revenant!
Redmayne said of whether this is DiCaprio’s year:
“I think it’s pretty much certainly is, and it’s so well deserved.”
Awww! Sweet!!
Redmayne also put the whole Oscars craziness into context in that interview, saying:
“It’s impossible to get your head around what this circus is. But it’s so much fun to be a part of, and you try just to kind of, really just sort of pinch yourself and take stock of all the memories, so that in years from now, you look back on it and try to really work out what it all was.”
It sure seems like a circus!!

Redmayne, who has now been nominated twice for Academy Awards, certainly has many more circuses to go through in his acting career!!
