Ellen DeGeneres is no stranger to giveaways — but this has got to be the most De-generous donation she’s ever put together!
The daytime host heard about the troubles at Detroit’s Spain Elementary-Middle School, who are forced to educate students with barely any textbooks or working computers.
It doesn’t stop there. The school has no heat, mold growth on the ceilings, and warped wood so severe that it has closed down the school gym — forcing students to take P.E. in the hallways.

On Thursday’s show, Ellen revealed that Lowe’s to donate $500,000 to the school “in technology, materials for renovations around the campus, and funding for additional staff” — but that’s not all!
The host surprised the school (and her own audience) with Justin Bieber, who also agreed to donate $1 per ticket of his upcoming concerts to the school — that’s a LOT of singles!
Of course, the faculty and students freaked out over the generosity, and these dedicated teachers totally deserved it!
