Ellen DeGeneres is not a happy woman right now.
The 62-year-old comedian and TV host reportedly “wants out” of her very own talk show after recent claims made against her and her production staff have repeatedly gone viral and landed with a very captive, interested audience. Now, it seems like she’s ready to just throw in the towel and walk away from it all in response, too… at least according to insiders close to the TV talker.

Speaking to Us Weekly on Sunday about the matter, an insider revealed some shocking claims about how Ellen was more than ready to end the show altogether and walk away at this point. Knowing how popular her daytime talk show has been for years that’s a shocking development, but to hear the insider tell it, it’s just been a long time in coming.
The source opened up (below), saying Ellen had a “target” on her back and adding:
“Ellen wants out of the show … She is pissed that people have come forward to share these negative stories about her and feels betrayed. She knows she can be tough at times, but believes she works hard and is extremely creative and that it’s a privilege to work for her and be around her.”
That’s, uh, just, WOW!
That’s a heck of a quote! And not exactly one to make herself more endearing among fans who are in the process of writing her off as we speak, ya know?! But what do we know, after all…

Of course, this reported desire to break away from her eponymous talk show altogether comes just hours after we reported earlier today how James Corden may be poised to take over (perhaps even sooner rather than later?) for DeGeneres, should she walk away from it all. Safe to say the writing is on the wall, at least. Now, as to whether this could actually happen to the embattled TV host so soon…
