Fantasia Speaks About Almost Losing Her Home

Idols are coming out of the woodwork, huh?

‘Tis the season!

In lieu of having a sequel to her already failed Lifetime movie, Season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino gave an interview about the hardships she endured this past year, how she overcame them, and how she almost lost her homes.

Fantasia admits it was her faith in her advisors that actually resulted in her money issues, allowing others to handle her finances without reviewing them herself.

She says, “I put my trust in other men — people that said they cared about me…I felt like all I had to do was get the mike, get on the stage and sing and everything else behind me would be taken care of but it didn’t happen that way.”

Being only a day away from losing her two Charlotte, NC, homes, she went to see a judge who helped her square away the matter so she could stay in her house as well as get rid of her crooked staff.

So now, everything is back on the up and up for the Idol champ. She is back to work on a new CD, which she wants to be “timeless” and another run on The Color Purple.

Again, Fantasia? Really?
