Larry Sanders Show Star Garry Shandling Dead At 66

no title
What truly terrible news.
It’s with a heavy heart that we must report that Garry Shandling has passed away at the age of 66.
The The Larry Sanders Show creator and star died suddenly Thursday afternoon after being admitted to an El Lay hospital for an unknown reason earlier in the morning.
Garry got his start as a stand-up comedian on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and famously turned late night when David Letterman left CBS.
In addition to his comedic roles, younger readers may recognize the 19-time Emmy nominee as Senator Stern from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What makes this story even more tragic is that Garry was reportedly feeling fine on Wednesday, and was even spotted hanging out with Kathy Griffin and Bob Odenkirk just last week.
Our thoughts are with Garry’s friends and family at this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Garry.
