Getting Even More Expensive To Live in NYC!

The MTA just announced that they are going to be increasing fares AND also cutting back services!
The fare hikes – including an increase in the base subway and bus fare to $2.50, from $2 – will take effect on May 31.
The Metropolitan Transit Authority claims that the fare hikes and service cutbacks are needed to keep the transit system from going broke.
Uh huh!
