HBO just nabbed another win!
That’s because Matt Bomer just won a Golden Globe for his work in The Normal Heart.
The award for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries, Series, or Television Film was a pretty right race, but Matt ended up beating out the other nominees for his emotional portrayal of HIV+ Felix Turner.
The 37-year-old father of three won over Colin Hanks for Fargo, Bill Murray for Olive Kitteridge, Alan Cumming for The Good Wife, and Jon Voight for Ray Donovan.
We’re glad that a made-for-TV movie about such an important subject like HIV is getting the recognition it deserves!
Congrats, Matt!
