So happy to see this!
U2 wins the Golden Globe for Best Original Song!
Bono and the boys wrote Ordinary Love for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, the biopic about the life of Nelson Mandela. They of course talked about Mr. Mandela in their acceptance speech, explaining how their own relationship with the late leader influenced the song.
They also gave some love to Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, who apparently helped them write this tune!
The other nominees in the category were Let It Go, from Frozen, Atlas, from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Please Mr. Kennedy, from Inside Llewyn Davis, and Sweeter Than Fiction, from One Chance.
Congrats!!!
