But according to a new interview with Vanity Fair, the Fancy rapper isn’t going to let the haters have the last word. In fact, she opens up to the magazine about the various issues plaguing her career.
On whether or not she has a sex tape, the Aussie said:
“I do not have a sex tape; I would remember if I had a sex tape. But if I did have a sex tape it would be completely f–king fine and my own business.”
Damn, girl! Way to own it!
VF also asks the Grammy nominee if she thinks the flack she receives for her music — the fact that she is a White, female rapper in a predominantly Black, male musical field — is a product of misogyny.
She says:
“Well, they don’t say that stuff about Macklemore├óΓé¼┬ª So, yes, I think it has 100,000 percent to do with the fact that I have a vagina.”
We want to know what YOU think about Iggy’s interview! Do you think the critcism aimed at her is legitimate, or completely sexist?
